I am on the cusp of publishing my first children's book: "A Forget-Me-Not Adventure: Pippa Learns About Gran's Dementia." This book is designed to assist children, ages 4-12, as they respectfully relate to grandparents or other elderly individuals with dementia.
I am also currently writing a series of books focused on supporting adult children with aging parents who desire to biblically honor their parents yet find themselves in situations of conflict with their parents and/or siblings due to issues that accompany the aging process.
The World of Pippa
The book "A Forget-Me-Not Adventure: Pippa Learns About Gran's Dementia" is designed to help young children navigate the uncertainty – and sometimes frightening – experiences encountered when engaging grandparents or other older adults with Alzheimer’s-type dementia. The book has a particular focus on the biblical concept of honor and respect within the family as scripturally outlined.
